Brook has received approval from Upper Allen Twp to construct a new
township-dedicated cul-de-Sac called Cottage Brook Lane. It will
be entered from Mill Rd proceeding west with nine approx. ½ acre
building lots. There is an existing beautiful old stone house in
this new sub-division, complete with its own long driveway and
stone wall entrances. The new house lots will be served by
Cottage Brook Lane. Ground has been broken, the street is cut in,
and underground utilities are being laid. Granite curbing and
street trees are installed and ground breaking for the long awaited Model wil be coming January 2009!
A covenant which includes size and architectural restrictions
is in place. The Covenant's purpose
generally is to help create a neighborhood to feel "cottagey" with
quality materials, but not pretentious. It's purpose specifically is threefold:
1. Protect property values
2. Insure individual continuity with neighborhood theme
3. Complement the natural & historical beauty of the immediate vicinity
